Welcome to the basics of putter throwing. This versatile tool helps us to get better while is the most unique and underutilized tool to many. Let's find out together what kind of shots we can actually make with different kind of putters!

Putter throwing requires a good grip. Let's look at some of the most common ones and what they are used for.

Why are we throwing putters? There are many reasons and here Thomas goes through the main ones.

How do we know when to choose a putter? Thomas talks about the way he assesses the situation before picking up the putter from his bag.

Let's go through the basic shot shapes with different putters first. This way you will get a good frame of reference on what the raw angles look like with different putters.

We start with an overstable putter and see how the disc flies when thrown with a neutral flat release angle.

Next we look at what the hyzer angle will look like with an overstable disc.

Last and arguably the most interesting overstable shot is the anhyzer angle. Thomas will show us what that looks like.

Now we move to the opposite stablity and use the undestable to get the spread. First in line is the flat release angle.

Here we see what the hyzer release angle will look like with an understable putter. Another very useful shot to get dialed in.

This shot is very situational. Understable putter thrown on an anhyzer release will most certainly cut roll, but sometimes that's the only thing we have, so let's look at how it's done.

Lastly we move to the neutral stability putter. Let's see hot the flat release angle looks like when Thomas throws it.

You know it! Next we have the hyzer with a neutral putter.

Last one is the the anhyzer with the neutral stability disc. Very nice and useful combination.

Regarding the flex stall shot, let's talk a little bit more on the nose angle of the throw and how it affects the flight.

Putter likes height. Here Thomas will show you how to max your distance and throw a high pushing glide shot with a neutral putter.

Let's look at a shot that can get you some extra distance in low ceiling situations .

On the more drastic angles, here is a quick cutting sweeping shot from Thomas.

Here we pull the nose over and down to get this unique shot shape with an overstable disc.

Do you want to go over an obstacle? Here is one solution for you: the overhand shot with a putter.

You can shape the putter to skip for you very easily and in a controlled manner compared to other discs. Let's see how it's done.

The last line of defense is sometimes a putter roller. Let's talk about how to do it with control.
